Quinta de Valmarinha is located on the western coast of Portugal, 15 minutes outside the historic town of Sintra. It is 50 minutes from downtown Lisbon and 25 minutes from Casais, now known as Lisbon’s Riviera.
Paria da Adraga beach is a 15-minute walk from the Quinta and Guincho beach, loved by surfers, is a 20 minute drive down the coast.

HOTEL
The architecture, interiors, furniture and art will be carefully designed, curated and decorated by De Rosee Sa. The Quinta will be restored with the greatest respect for the existing structures. We intend to bring a new lease of life to the property and update all the interiors with a look that is both fresh and timeless, resonating with Sintra and its history. Our vision is to create a special place where guests will be looked after with warmth and attention.
Quinta de Valmarinha will offer 30-bedroom suites. Most rooms will have their own external entrance which will create a feeling of privacy and break with the conventional sense of a hotel.
GARDEN
There will be three pools on the property, two being restored water reserve ‘tanques’ which can be enjoyed in a more private setting and one will be a larger pool closer to the main house. There will be fruit trees and vegetable gardens planted on the garden terraces and throughout the vineyards.
The estate will have a rare Colares vineyard of the highest D.O.C.* classification. A house red, white and rose wine will be produced. We will be developing and employing sustainable techniques for the plantation and production of the wines.

ACTIVITY
Quinta de Valmarinha will offer guests various communal areas in which to enjoy their stay, including a dining room, library and a peaceful seating area in which to relax. The hotel’s pool house features a bar, gym, yoga studio, spa and indoor pool.
In terms of food offer, a resident chef will work out of the open plan kitchen providing breakfast, lunch and dinner from a carefully prepared daily menu. This is also accessible to members.
